KATE Upton - swimsuit model, Cat Daddy dancer and all-round American patriot - wants her male fans to know that all those bikini photo shoots they love - well, they're just a job to her, like plumbing or working in Maccas.
In the new issue of the US GQ , Upton says: "I grew up in Florida riding horses, so the majority of my life I was either in boots or a bathing suit. I understand why my male followers like me . It's like any job. You find your strengths and play them up."
Her GQ cover and spread were shot by artist Terry Richardson, for whom she did the Cat Daddy earlier this year .
For the cover she poses in a patriotic bikini and sucks on a red, white and blue popsicle. The spread inside is just as provocative, with Upton topless and covering her chest with her hands.
Upton revealed that she experienced an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while posing for the men's magazine.
"For the GQ photo shoot, we were on that ride where the seat spins while the actual ride is spinning, and I'm wearing a one-piece. And all of a sudden the whole entire top falls off! I'm holding myself, laughing, turning bright red, but a lot of people are watching, so they kicked us out of the Santa Monica Pier - it was so embarrassing .You wouldn't think that would happen with a one-piece!"
